On Saturday 13th November 2021, the Parish Priest, Rev Fr Canice Okere of St Thomas Catholic Parish Umuowa, Ngor-Okpala LGA of Imo State had blessed the new house built by Mr Ernest Okere for an indigent family in Nnamowa.

While performing the house dedication service at the compound of the beneficiary, Mr Uchenna Okereafor, Fr Okere prayed for more Providence and blessings upon the lives and family of the benefactor.

He went further and described the good deed of Mr Okere as most heavenly and philanthropic, urging every Christian, men and women of goodwill to emulate such act of generosity.

Meanwhile, the lives of Mr & Mrs Uchenna Okereafor, natives of Nnamowa, Umuowa in Ngor-Okpala LGA of Imo State have been filled with joy and happiness as they witnessed an unmerited outpouring of kindness from this God sent philanthropist.

According to Mr Okere who briefed our correspondent, his reason for embarking on such philanthropic work is to show gratitude to God almighty whom in his infinite mercies made it possible for him and his wife to have a baby of their own after many years in their marriages.

It is worthy of note that Mr & Mrs Uchenna Okereafor are the first beneficiaries of this project, and it is a two-bedroom apartment, with a modernized toilet facility and septic tank (Soak away).

People who witnessed the house dedication included Mr & Mrs Ernest Okere, alongside their newborn, Chizaram Audrey and the members of his family. others are Engr Maxwell Akagha, Engr Ndubuisi Osuji, Miss Precious Amara Zuribo, Comr James Emeahu who executed the project and a few other friends and well-Wishers of the beneficiary’s (Uchenna Okereafor) family.
