On the other side, Nigerians are in doubt as per the transparency and integrity of the services of the commission leveraging on the fact that there were Nigerians stranded in China after they were maltreated and thrown out by the Chinese security agents. Videos of these Nigerians being maltreated and harassed by the Chinese authorities had gone viral on social media and main stream media.
There were clamours from Nigerians for the Federal Government of Nigeria to intervene and save these Nigerians from the hands of the Chinese Authorities. However, 9News Nigeria is yet to be aware of any intervention steps taken by Nigerian government neither did the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission publish any information regarding steps to rescue these Nigerians.
