The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and his wife have gone into self isolation in compliance with the official protocols by health authorities.
This step became necessary as two members of his household tested positive to covid-19 on Friday, 12th December, 2020.
According to a release signed by the SGF himself, the two affected members of his household are although asymptomatic, have nevertheless been isolated and are receiving care in one of the government treatment centres.
The SGF then used the opportunity to remind Nigerians that Covid-19 is real, and that Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that there has been an upward surge in cases across several states.
While advising Nigerians to take responsibility for themselves so as to protect the country, he asked for prayers for members of his family.
