The APC. National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu have called on Nigerian women to rise above parochial sentiments and support other women to spring forth and stand out in every pursuit or career they have chosen. Whatever you find to do that is right ensure you are best at it. “ she said this at the 22nd COWLSO event in Lagos where she commended the great work done by this body to carry out great projects that have changed the lives of women in Lagos state over the years. She commended the COWLSO investment in the girl child education, number of Classroom built for school children, business set up for women and care for the Aged. She said more support is required for this committee to do more for Women.
The National Women Leader also challenged women to work hard and improve their capacity to contribute to nation building. She called on women to support APC as well as our Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Amhed as women must ensure Lagos delivers minimum of 90% to APC in the next General Elections.
She Thanked Governor Jide Sanwolu the super performing Governor of Lagos for his support to the women development and mainstreaming calling on women to ensure the vote him in for the second term! She thanked Governor Nyesom Wike for the 300 million Naira contribution to the COWLSO Project.
