Watt Market traders union on Thursday, endorsed the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for President come 2023.
The traders who were formally received into OUK movement by the Cross River State Coordinator, Comr. Njang Ndoma, anchored their support for the former Abia state governor on what they described as “the best man for the job”.
Specifically, the traders urged political parties, socio-political groups to adopt Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as their consensus candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
While appealing to the Senate Chief Whip to join the presidential race, the group said they were ready to contribute money to fund Kalu’s presidential campaign, noting that it was the turn of the South East geo-political zone to produce the next president in 2023.
