Music Star, Davido is set to perform his first concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden by next spring as Billboard exclusively announced.
Davido will perform at the spectacular venue on April 17, 2024, as part of his extended Timeless Tour.
The three new North American arena dates will start with the MSG show, then a show at Montreal’s Place Bell on April 19 and finally end with a show at Orlando’s Additional Financial Arena come April 24.
“Seven years ago, I walked past Madison Square Garden and looked at it and said, ‘We gonna come back and shut this down.
“So to be here now, able to play Madison Square Garden, in New York, one of the first cities and fans to embrace my music, at this iconic venue … it’s a dream come true.” Davido said.
The Afrobeats singer is nominated for best African music performance for his summer smash “Unavailable” with Musa Keys and best global music album for his fourth studio album, Timeless, ahead of the 2024 Grammy Awards.
