Sokoto State governor, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and all members of the State House of Assembly members on Wednesday evening dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, and joined the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
According to reports, they decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on grounds which will made public soon.
Governor Aminu Abubakar Tambuwal, a former Speaker of the House of Reps won the governorship ticket on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recently, the APC has been hit by a series of defections which started from the National Assembly (NASS). And lately also the defection of Governor Ortom of Benue State.
