Their birth was supposed to bring joy unspeakable, but the reverse was the case as the mother of five, Mrs. Ijeoma Asimole, who was again blessed with triplets, cried out for help at OPM free Specialist Hospital, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to Ijeoma who delivered the triplets, her husband and her had been jobless and poverty stricken to the extent that they could not adequately cater for the five children already on ground, nor able to pay house rent.
When she got pregnant again, she said she considered terminating the pregnancy because of the hardship the family was going through. It was at that point someone advised her to go to OPM free Specialist Hospital and register for antenatal since everything was free there.
She further explained that the Landlord had already given them quit notice due to their inability to pay their rent as at when due. It was in the midst of these myriads of problems that the triplets arrived without a house to take them to.
Help, however, came their way when the General Overseer of the faith based outfit, Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, a lover of children, visited the Hospital after having been told of the plight of the poor mother of the triplets. The Overseer, having listened to the pathetic story of the family, was touched, and he immediately gave the family a lifeline.
The man of God right there approved scholarship for the triplets from primary school to university level, pledged full responsibility over the triplets, gave Asimole and her family a house in one of the 18 OPM free Estates with a promise to open a good business for her family as soon as she was discharged from the hospital, and strong enough to commence business.
The nursing mother expressed appreciation to the man of God for the good gestures. She explained that the scan result she had never showed triplet, but was grateful that the Lord had done them well. She prayed that the Lord would grant Apostle Chinyere long life.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, it was the first time since its inception in 2012 that triplets would be delivered at the free Hospital which is located at Aluu Community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State
God has used OPM Free Specialist Hospital to save many lives free of charge. The Hospital charges no dime from registration to antenatal, scan, delivery, drugs, and post natal services including surgeries and there is no discrimination of any kind in their operations.
