Residents of Imo State alongside top government functionaries joined the Deputy Governor, Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru, in paying final respects to the late Engr. Emmanuel Agogbuo during his funeral ceremony held at Umuiyi, Akabo in Ikeduru LGA.
Lady Ekomaru described the deceased as a disciplined family man and respected community figure whose life was marked by integrity, humility, Christian devotion, and service to humanity.
She noted that the late engineer left behind enduring legacies worthy of emulation, especially in family values and responsible leadership.
The funeral service at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Akabo, attracted government officials, clergy, political associates, community leaders, friends, and sympathizers from across the state.
The Deputy Governor encouraged the bereaved family to remain united and steadfast in faith, while praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.
The Chief Mourner, Mr. Kelvin Agogbuo, appreciated the Deputy Governor and all sympathizers for their support and solidarity during the family’s moment of grief.
