Karim Benzema has penned a new four-year contract with Real Madrid.
The deal ties him to the La Liga and European champions until 2021.
Benzema’s contract had been set to expire in 2019 and the new deal means he will remain at the Bernabeu past his 33rd birthday.
Reports in Spain say his net salary has been increased to more than €7.5million a year, while the new arrangement includes a release clause of €1billion.
Benzema joins Isco and Dani Carvajal in committing his long-term future to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit.
The 29-year-old joined Madrid from Lyon for €35million in 2009 and has won 14 trophies at the Bernabeu.
