An unexpected trust unfolded on Monday in Sabo, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, leaving many stunned.
On what was supposed to be a joyous wedding day, a groom was left stranded and in disbelief when his bride vanished from home on the morning of their wedding.
Desperate to salvage the ceremony and the embarrassment that attached to the mysterious disappearance of his bride, the bride’s parents intervened, persuading the groom to marry one of her bridesmaids instead.
The replacement bride, a graceful and well-mannered young woman, stepped into the role seaming less, turning what could have been a disaster and a disgraceful moment into a unique love story.
