Easter: ACCI appreciate members, calls for commitment to economic development

In an Easter message, the President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Prince Adetokunbo Kayode has called on its members and the business community in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to rededicate themselves to the overall development of the Nigerian economy.

The President while wishing them and their loved ones joyous celebration also praised the members for demonstrating resilience and commitment to the development of the country.

According to him, in spite of the harsh effect of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the members of the chamber and business community are still working remotely to continue to oil the wheels of the economy.

He said, ACCI, as one of the Organised Private Sector (OPS) players in active collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI) has put machinery in place to support them so as to continue their production activities.

“I want to use the opportunity provided by the 2020 Easter Celebration, to wish you all the best as you continue to work assiduously in ensuring that the economic wheels of country does not come to a halt.

“It is my desire and indeed the Executive Committee (EXCO), Council members, Management and staff of the chamber to appreciate the role you had continuously played in the development of our chamber and the economy. We are indeed proud of you.
