Easter season started with a great shock of the lent which is also called a trial time for the gospel of Jesus Christ on earth. In the 3hour of that faithful Friday Jesus was crucified and the world trembled. For the followers of Jesus it was as if the end came until the resurrection day when the same God rose Jesus from death.

Since then till date, science and religion are battling and alot of contradictory philosophy of men were submerged by the power of resurrection. How many times was the dead raised from death on the third day after burial?

Recalling the seasons and times Jesus Christ came in the likeness of men and the benefits thereto. I marvel at such a prize paid that no one could.

As we meditate therefore, we are expected to do God’s will not our will as such will without the approval of the Almighty is just temporal but the will of God is the eternal glory and the crown of victory.

The political will to govern the states of the federation and the policies of men to rule the continents of the world must therefore be enshrined in the will of God to have a better result or outcome favorable and benefiting to the people otherwise the insensitive of Political leaders is the outcome of man’s inhumanity to fellow man.

The seven words of the cross as recorded:

1st Saying: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).

2nd Saying: “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” One of the two robbers crucified with Him joined in the scorning while the other was repentant.

3rd Saying: In between painful breaths, Jesus was still caring for those dearest to Him.

He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” (John 19:26-27).

4th Saying: Jesus then cried out His fourth statement while on the cross: “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” (Mark 15:34).

5th Saying: Jesus then spoke the fifth saying: “I am thirsty” (John 19:28).

This statement was also prophesied by King David, saying, “My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth” (Psalm 22:15). John records one of the Roman soldiers bringing a sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant.

A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips (John 19:29).

6th Saying: “It is finished!” (John 19:30).

As Jesus felt that the time had come, the three Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) tell us that Jesus shouted out loudly.

7th Saying: As this shout was still ringing around Golgotha, His last words, His seventh saying from the cross was spoken,

“Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” (Luke 23:46).

With this last saying, Jesus gave up His spirit until the third day, when God proved to the entire race of mankind that God is God.

From research and confirmation, JESUS CHRIST has remained the redeemer of our life and the God we see. Only in Jesus Christ (beloved Son of God) is the truth, the way and the life. This is proven without any Contradicted fact by the resurrection Power.

I see power in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and in that power I hide my spirit, my soul and my body. My life is insured in the resurrection Power of God wherein my greatness and accomplishment springs.

We shall continue to thank our Lord Jesus Christ and have trust in God. As we mourn Christ crucifixion, there is a resurrection Power in disguise.

Happy Easter in advance!!
