The Ebonyi State of House Assembly, on Wednesday, approved the letter seeking for the upgrade of three Local Government Areas in the State to Urban Areas.
The letter which was written by Governor David Nweze Umahi to the House had Afikpo North LGA, Ohaozara LGA, and Ivo LGA as the key areas to be upgraded.
In a statement made available to 9News Nigeria on Wednesday by the Special Assistant on Media to Umahi, Hon. Francis Nwaze said the Ebonyi State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru approved the request.
