Governor Willie Obiano has cautioned people wrecking havoc within the State, to stop forthwith.
Governor Obiano was speaking while addressing the press when he recieved in audience DIG Celestine Okoye, AIG Zone 13, Mr. Danmallam Mohammed and the state Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang
According to the Governor, who said that what is going on is no long about the ENDSARS Protests , disclosed that intelligence reports has it that people perpetrating the carnage are from outside the state, stressing that he is aware of what they have planned for Monday, next week and made clear that security operatives have been properly briefed
While calling on ndi Anambra to join hands and protect their communities against those unleashing mayhem, Governor Obiano said that State government is ready to protect lives and property and commended the traditional rulers, the youth, among others, who have come out to defend their communities so far.
In his speech, DIG Okoye pleaded with those wrecking havoc to stop, stressing that the destruction and carnage being perpetrated against the people are uncalled for, regretting that some of the best should be proud of themselves because they suffer alot to survive, urging them to look inwards as Ndigbo, expressing optimism that all will be well soon.
