History was made in Ado-Odo by the entire Onikosi Ataan Aro Chieftancy family of Ado-Odo. When they unanimously nominated Prince Quadri Gafar-Iseki as the Aro-Elect of Ado-Odo, Awori land.
The nomination exercise was strictly conducted under the supervision of the Olori ebi of Idokosi, Prince Olufemi Dosumu.(Son of the immediate past Aro Akinnibi Dosumu of Ado-Odo) with the children of a past Aro Dada Ashin in attendance.
Prince Quadri Gafar-Iseki is a seasoned academic, with contributions in reputable journals. He has attended and facilitated conferences, workshops, and focus groups home and abroad.

While congratulating him, Engr. Saeed Olabisi Alagbe, FNSE, Describes Prince Quadri Gafar-Iseki as Quadri Gafar is a shining example of brilliance, humility, and unwavering dependability. His nomination for the esteemed ARO Chieftaincy position by the Onikosi Aatan Aro Chieftaincy Families of Idokosi is a testament to his exceptional character and dedication This is a bold and progressive step for Ado Odo, one that promises a future of harmony and growth under the wise leadership of our beloved Kabiyesi. Given the legacy of loyalty upheld by previous AROs, there is no doubt that Quadri will serve with steadfast commitment to the development of Ado Odo. May this process unfold smoothly, and may Allah grant Kabiyesi and the great people of Ado Odo strength, wisdom, and success on this remarkable journey.

Elder Rasheed Lamidi, a senior citizen in Ado-Odo, congratulated him and posited that this is a wonderful write-up. Firstly, Ado Odo has 4 indigenous quarters, namely, Okejana, Odojana, Oke osi, and Odo osi.
We have four senior chiefs, namely Osolo, Bajomu, Ira, and Aro.
It’s pertinent to note d uniqueness of our system whereby the four quarters has a senior chiefs. Thus, it’s absolutely clear that one quarter can not produce two senior chiefs at a time.
Am highly delighted that someone with these impressive credentials can be convinced to contest for this exalted position. This is a welcome development.
Let’s unite and support this noble course. This is one of our great assets, a diligent and trustworthy personality.
With the support of ur immediate family and, more importantly, the quarter where you belong, u will surely succeed.
Ado Odo o ni baje.
I personally believe that our brother, Quadr Gafar-Iseki will be a kind of bridge and engenders further unity in Ado-Odo, as he’s related to Awori, Ogu (Egun) and Ketu among others.
He has never hidden his love for, and the defense of core Ado-Odo interests and needs since I have known him.
His stoutly built, with moderate body that always radiates his full ebony handsomeness, will be additional glory to the Olofin and his Council.
Reading about him again and again always gives me pride, and I pray that he gets to the promised land and that Ado-Odo as a whole should benefit from his wealth of knowledge.
The traditional Ipebi rites will be communicated as soon as the prescribed authority of the ancient Awori kingdom approves
All the best.
I am Yele, Akinyele Balogun.
Congratulations to the entire Olofin of Ado-Odo and his subjects.
