In the year 2010 he was a bricklayer in his village Izzi.
Then in 2011, a man reportedly picked and sponsored him into being elected as a member of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly where he later rose to the position of Speaker Because of his loyalty, he found with the immediate past Governor and the people of Ebonyi State who chose him as APC governorship candidate and today he is the governor.
If any one had told his wife that the man he married as a bricklayer would become a governor in just few years, she could have doubted that.
Despite the fact that her parents trained her in school and from a well to do family, yet she married the guy that was molding bricks for a living.
