A man who said his name was Chekwube Ani from Enugu State has made a viral voice message crying out for help from anyone to enable him to regain freedom from Pakistani drug lords.

According to a voice message made available to 9News Nigeria, Chekwube Ani was brought to Pakistan by his brother in law in the name of coming to do business with him. But it happened that his brother in law, Stephen Ogbodo had collected “some goods” worth 17 Million Naira from the Pakistani local businessmen. He went on to narrate that Stephen Ogbodo made away with the said goods using him as collateral to the Pakistani local businessmen.

According to him, Stephen Ogbodo stopped contacting him for weeks after making away with the goods and using him as collateral. He cried out that the local Pakistani in demand for their money have been putting him through severe suffering since they did not hear from Stephen Ogbodo.

Chekwube was heard crying and begging the public especially his Enugu state brothers to share the voice message so that his family and that of Stephen Ogbodo could get it and act fast to secure his release.

According to a source who made the video available to 9News Nigeria from Pakistan, the local Pakistani drug lords have threatened to kill the Enugu State man, Chekwube Ani should their money be further delayed.

FULL MESSAGE AS TRANSCRIBED BY 9NEWS NIGERIA CORRESPONDENT

Please, my people, I’m greeting you all. My name is Chekwube Ani and I’m from Enugu State.

My brother in law whose name is Stephen brought me to Pakistan for us to do business together. As I came to Pakistan, my inlaw made away with goods worth about 17 Million Naira from local Pakistani people and used me as collateral. The people are trying to kill me, and even for some weeks now, I’ve not even eaten any food.

My people of Enugu State, I’m calling on you all. His name is Stephen Ogbodo from Obeagu Ameche, Enugu State. Myself, I’m also from Enugu State, from Amichi Awkunanaw. Please if you all know how to help me in this matter, please help me out.

The name of the person I’m talking about is Stephen Ogbodo, he lives in Lagos.

Please all, I’m dying here. Since then, even for some weeks now that he has not heard anything from me, he has not even made attempt to call to know if I’m already or still alive.

Please, the reason why I’m sending this voice message is that, please whoever hears it will share it to others so that my family can get the message.
