Jose Mourinho has identified six clubs in contention for the Premier League title with Manchester United.
Mourinho and his players prepare to face his former club Chelsea this Sunday.
According to the Portuguese, Manchester City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, are all good to clinch the trophy.
Mourinho’s team currently second in the table with 23 points, five behind leaders Manchester City, while Tottenham lie in third with 20, and Chelsea are fourth with 19.
Arsene Wenger’s side are level on points with the Blues, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are sixth, three points behind.
Mourinho insists that the title race remains open, despite City’s early dominance.
He told Sky Sports, “Chelsea are the champions and one of the top teams in the country and I consider them – and they consider themselves, too – a big contender for the title.
“I think six (teams are competing for the title) because Everton, in spite of their huge investment, didn’t manage to follow the group.
“I think in the table now you can already feel the four or five are there. If Liverpool are a couple of points behind I’m pretty sure in a couple of weeks they’ll be close to us too.”
