Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the ban of 50 Nigerians from leaving the country.

Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu disclosed this on Saturday, following a directive by President Buhari on the full implementation of Executive order 6.
The presidency, however, did not reveal the identities of the affected persons.

Speaking on the development, Fani-Kayode described the ban as shameful.
In a post on his Twitter page, he wrote:

“The banning of 50 prominent Nigerians from travelling out of the country by Buhari’s Executive Order and the power to confiscate their assets even though they have not been empowered to do so by a court of law or convicted of any offence is utterly shameful and condemnable.”
