FCTA Mandate Secretary visits Ona of Abaji in Abuja, commits to engagements and collaborations

Mrs Adebayo Benjamins-Laniyi, the Mandate Secretary for the newly created Women Affairs Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration in representation of the First Lady of Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Initiative advocacy, visited the palace of the Ona of Abaji & Paramount Ruler cum Royal Father over the entire Traditional Hierachy of the revered seventeen chiefdoms of the FCT.

Through the office of the Mandate Secretary for Women Affairs FCT, there was a commitment of international friendship, potential partnership, and SDG collaborations.

The convergence of these eminent personalities emphasizes the importance of fostering diplomatic ties and promoting conversation and cultural dialogue for the betterment of our shared community spaces, both rural & global.

In her capacity as Mandate Secretary for the Women Affairs Secretariat of the FCT, she insisted that all stakeholders must continue to engage with local leaders and institutions and booster the prospects of meaningful cooperation and development.

“As the privilege of my assignment continues to evolve, I am sincerely energised for more unique engagements driving change, fostering unity, and deepening our shared understanding and commitments to the wellbeing of shaping communities.” The Mandate Secretary said.

This visit was accompanied by the United Nations Resident Representative in Abuja, Nigeria, Mr. Matthias Schmale.
