The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has directed all public senior secondary schools in Abuja to shut down.
According to officials in a statement released on Today, citing pressing security concerns.
School administrators were instructed to conclude academic activities and ensure that students vacate the premises by Friday, 28 November 2025 until further notice.
The move, follows intelligence assessments indicating potential risks within parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
While specific details of the threats were not disclosed, the FCTA is reportedly working closely with security agencies to strengthen surveillance and safeguard critical locations across Abuja.
