Federal Government plans to create 1million jobs across the country using digital technology

The Federal Government has revealed plans to create one million jobs as away of tackling youth unemployment across the 774 local government areas of the country.

This was made known in Abuja on Friday October 4, 2024 by the Minister for Youth Development Comrade Ayodele Olawande, saying the Federal Government is determined to educate, inspire and connect Nigerian youths to careers and opportunities in the insurance sector using the power of digital technology.

The development comes after the Rural Electrification Agency, REA said starting in November, the Federal Government will kickstart a new rural electrification project bankrolled by the World Bank to provide electricity for 17.5 million Nigerians.
