The federal minstry of works has ordered Toshel construction company to stop further works on the roads of Anambra state and seek relevant approval from the government.
The Toshel construction company limited is the construction company used by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in the ongoing renovation of roads in his constituency.
Here is the letter signed by the controller general of works Engr Ezeala Chidi.
It is shameful that a senator will direct a company to move to renovate roads, just for chasing of clouts than seeking relevant approval from the government in order to sincerely help out his people in need.
Recall last week that the Anambra south senator have been appointing accusing fingers against the stoppage of the roads by the governor.
In one of his radio program at Authority 91.9fm Nnewi, on Friday 6th Nov 2020, he told listeners of how he is entitled to build any of the roads within his constituency without seeking approval by the government.
This letter from the federal controller of works has proved the senator statement on constructing government properties without approval from relevant authorities wrong and should be withdrawn.
The Senator must learn to follow due process in delivering his mandate to the people.
