FG approves 2 airlines to alleged Sudan pro-Al-Qaeda country, airlines to fly Sudan-Kano

President Muhammadu Buhari’s led Federal Government has approved without fanfare two Sudanese airlines – Badr Airlines and Tarco Airways to always land into Kano airport.

The two airlines shall each be operating two flights weekly from Khartoum, Sudan to Kano State, Nigeria.

Sudan has long been suspected by Nigerians to be one of the major breeding and training grounds for terrorists, Boko Haram, Al-Qaeda and ISIS inclusive.

Considering the insecurity volatility of the North, Nigerians are calling on the National Assembly to prevail on President Buhari to cancel such business treaty.

One of the prime question on the lips of Nigerians is what trade relationship do we have with Sudan to attract the anticipation of a huge traffic of Sudanese to Nigeria that necessitated the approval of two flights a week from two different airlines?

Insecurity in the country is already all time high, the whole Northern Nigeria is no more safe for anything, yet President Buhari Federal Government who cannot stop it or reduce the pace of daily of killings of innocent citizens in all Northern States, makes Khartoum-Kano a thoroughfare for Sudanese to flood the country? What’s his intentions, Nigerians ask.
