The Federal Government has approved uniform selling prices for the housing units under the Renewed Hope Housing Estate initiative.
According to the new pricing structure, a one-bedroom semi-detached bungalow will sell for ₦8.5 million, a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow for ₦11.5 million, while a three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow will go for ₦12.5 million.
The estates, located across all six geopolitical zones, will feature 250 housing units in each participating state, except Kano which will have 500 units due to higher demand and population size.
The Renewed Hope Housing Scheme, one of the flagship programs of the Federal Government, seeks to bridge Nigeria’s widening housing deficit by providing affordable homes for low- and middle-income earners.
Officials say the adoption of uniform sale prices is intended to promote fairness and ensure that Nigerians benefit equally from the initiative regardless of their state of residence.
