Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has launched a scathing critique of former President Muhammad Buhari’s administration, declaring it as worst in Nigeria’s democratic history.
Obasanjo, however, says the current government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appears to be following the path of misgovernance and corruption and may surpass Buhari’s record.
The book was one of the two new books the former President unveiled last week in commemoration of his 88th Birthday.
Obasanjo in his book, also describes the N15.6 trillion Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway project as wasteful and corrupt project as waste and corrupt and slams Tinubu’s administration for spending N21 billion on new official residence for Vice President Kashim Shettima, calling it a misplaced priority and circuit designed to embezzle public funds.
