FIFA rankings: Argentina stay top, Nigeria unmoved, Philippines reach new heights

With no international matches in April all teams in the top 50 held their positions.

Nigeria remained unmoved at number 67 in the latest Fifa rankings for the month of May.

The three-time African champions were adjudged the same rank in the world according to the ranking released in April 2016.
The Eagles are now the 14th best African side behind Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Congo DR, Guinea, Congo, Cameroon, Morocco and Mali.

The Philippines, meanwhile, may have failed to advance to the next round of 2018 World Cup qualifiers for the AFC region, but the Azkals moved up one spot to their best-ever position of 115th.

  1. NFF should stop using power to select players to play any match for Nigeria, we dont have any dream tam, to frequent training, how are going to move forward, even our home base player too are not dooing well, our football life in Nigeria is zero.
