Fighting Drug Abuse Is A Collective Responsibility Says Gov Fintiri

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri the Executive governor of Adamawa State has stressed that fighting drug abuse is the responsibility of all as to be able to rid off the menace in the country.

The governor stated this when he received in audience the management of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA in the Council Chamber Government House Yola.

He appealed to the Federal Government to adequately fund the agency so as Fintiri appreciated President Mohammadu Buhari for finding it worthy of appointing a son of the State to head the agency even as he appealed to the Federal government to adequately fund the agency to enable efficient discharge of duties by officers of the agency.

“With Marwa’s experience, knowledge, and capacity he will relentlessly work towards re-engineering the fight against illicit drugs, he stated”.

The Chairman NDLEA Brigadier General Muhammadu Buba Marwa lauded the achievements recorded so far by the Fintiri led administration especially in Adamawa.
