Plans are concluded by the Imo State Government ably led by GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma to welcome the number one citizen of the Federal Republic of NIGERIA, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari to Imo state on Thursday 9-09-2021.

The release made available to 9News Nigeria states that president BUHARI will tomorrow Thursday 9th of September 2021 pay a working visit to Imo state.

President Buhari amongst many other things would be on the spot assessment of the developmental projects embarked upon as well as commission some of the projects of the Shared Prosperity Government of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

However, people have continued to criticize the proposed visit to Imo State on various grounds to include civil servants owed salaries and pensioners not paid till date. Other points are the bad situation of Imo roads and the state of insecurity bedevilling the state.

By my investigations, I found out that a simple correctional touch on these weak points will surely make the people smile having recorded the numerous works done so far by governor Uzodinma to Improve the state.

However, the visits of Governor Hope Uzodinma to Abuja is yielding a monumental dividend as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President BUHARI visits Imo.

A government source told our in Owerri told our CORRESPONDENT that the reason for the president’s visit may not be properly understood but he posited that GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA is about projecting Imo state to greater heights.

On this therefore as Imo people welcome Mr President to the Eastern Heartland, we pray God to grant him journey mercies and make his stay and visit, a fruitful one while thanking governor Uzodinma for the rapid development in the state.

While asking the way forward to develop the state, Imo people frowned at the non-completion of road projects, workers salary, pensioners pay, abolition of RUGA law, Insecurity as possible setbacks and pleaded with GOVERNOR UZODINMA to put more efforts to make Imo an attraction centre to the World.

It is the belief of Imo state that the visit of Mr President will emit spark of Developments, good Governance, democratic benefits than setbacks.
