After intensive grilling, the Senate on Wednesday approved the appointment of Justice Muhammad Tanko as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
He took over the mantle of leadership of the nation’s judiciary in acting capacity after the suspension of ex-CJN, Walter Onnoghen.
