Earlier today Friday 20-01-2023, Three students of laboratory science of Imo State University Owerri bagged first class honours.
This was unveiled at the induction of class of 2020 Set of Medical laboratory Science held at IMSU Auditorium, 9News Nigeria reports.
Umez Emeana Okechukwu and Nwachukwu Gift Bagged First Class Honours and also double as Best graduating students at IMSU Class of 2020 Med Lab Induction.
Both graduates have a CGPA of 4.53 respectively while Isaac Tochukwu was named the third best graduating students with a CGPA of 4.50.
The Induction cum Oath-taking ceremony of IMSU class of 2020 of Medical Laboratory Scientists took place at the school arena.
The graduates were successfully inducted into Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria after taking the professional oath which qualifies them as licensed members of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Meanwhile, history repeated itself as Medical Laboratory Science Department produced three first class graduates yet again in IMSU.
Present at the occasion are, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Uchefula Ugonna Chukwumaeze; Dean Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Mrs Asinobi. C; Head of Department, Medical Laboratory Science Department, Prof. Mrs Joy Dike Ndudim and many other members of the University governing council.
Recall that the department recorded three First class Students, which were announced and honoured for their academic feat As announced: SCT. Nwachukwu Gift Chukwuebuka (Plato) with CGPA of 4.53.SCT. Umez Emeana Okechukwu with CGPA of 4.53 and SCT. Isaac Tochukwu with a CGPA of 4.50.
