In a statement release by the governor,s Principal Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism,Tahav Agerzua on his Facebook wall.
The statement reads:
The signature cap which Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has consistently worn since assumption of office has attracted recognition and an award from the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.
In the letter nominating the Governor for the award the Commission stated that the cap signified the promotion of integration and national unity.
State Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Rt. Hon. Ngunan Addingi, leads a delegation to receive the award on behalf of the Governor in Abuja.
The delegation includes Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism, Rt Hon Mzenda Iho, his Information and Orientation, James Uloko, and Principal Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, Tahav Agerzua.
Director of Council for Arts and Culture, Mrs Monica Shanyô, with the performing troupe, as well as Director of Planning and Research, Pat Aba, and General Manager, Benue Printing and Publishing Company, Ben Agande are also part of the delegation.
The event holds at the Rock View Hotel Royal, Wade 2, Abuja today to mark the celebration of the International Museum Day.
