Former First Lady Aisha Buhari and her family have relocated to the home of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State.
A delegation led by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarane, warmly welcomed the former First Lady upon her arrival.
The residence was Buhari’s last bide before he travelled to London for a routine medical check-up, where he passed away.
On July 13, 2025, Buhari passed away at a clinic in London while receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.
On July 15, the body of the President was transported back to his hometown of Daura in Katsina State for burial.
The deceased former President was granted a state burial with complete Military Honours.
