Declaring his support for Onyirimba, the Amaraku born politician and the youngest Gubernatorial candidate in Imo said that he decided to join APGA BECAUSE he considered it so important to do so especially now that the party is in the rebuilding stage.

He further said that the party is the only party that can give and deliver the dividends of democracy to the masses at all levels especially Okigwe zone.

Comrade Nwaiwu further stated that Chief Charles Onyirimba’s intention to represent the zone at the red chamber gingered him to join the party having considered his antecedents, unquestionable credentials, his background and his readiness to represent the zone well.

Responding to his defection to the APGA, the ward chairman Mr. Onyekachi Iwuozor said that they have been longing to have him in the party, he therefore assured Comrade Nwaiwu of the party’s readiness to carry all defectors along at the ward level.
