A former speaker of the Imo state house of assembly and past Imo state trade representative in US, Rt. Hon. Ike Ibe has divulged a talk series titled, ‘Balancing pains and gains in the pursuit of happiness’.
This was disclosed in a post on Sunday in Abuja.
The talk series is to promote happiness, understanding, and combat depression in the Nigerian people.
According to him, the death rate keeps increasing because people lack the ability to deal with depression, stress and trauma, insisting that there are numerous causes of the “sickness of the mind”.
In the post, the legal practitioner stressed on the need to balance life’s situations and responsibilities, adding that there must be pains and gains in all aspects.
“There are so many results of depression. It could even cost a life. It needs to be attended to and dealt with”. He lamented.
