A Non-Governmental Organisation, the Maikaya Development Foundation has sponsored the enrollment of 750 indigents in Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Muhammed Musa Maikaya disclosed this at the flag-off ceremony at the Comprehensive Primary Health Centre, Kwandare on Thursday.
Maikaya, a former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, said the gesture was to ensure equal representation and opportunities for all.
The beneficiaries were drawn across the thirteen (13) Local Government Areas of the State.
Governor Abdullahi Sule who was represented at the event by the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Gaza Gwamna assured the Foundation that the enrollees would get quality healthcare services.
