In a very interesting encounter, between the Argentines and French team at the second round of the ongoing world cup, both team were involved in a winner takes all duel.

The French team opened scoring with a penalty kick against Argentina, while the Argentines fought and came back with an equalizer a few minutes before half time, with a goal from Angel Di Maria.

A few minutes into second half, Argentina took the lead against France through a deflected goal. The game progressed with France scoring thrice under fifteen (15) minutes with the greatest effort from the nineteen (19) year old wonder kid, Mbappe who scored two out of France’s four goals.

A die minute comeback from Argentina through a goal from Kun Aguero, saw the Argentines fighting back but could not equalize the fourth goal injury inflicted on them.

France advances to the quarter finals amidst jubilations, while the Argentines with heads bowed exit the world cup.
