Ganduje calls for probe into murder of Plateau APC pokesman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has called for meticulous investigation into the killing of the party’s spokesperson in Plateau State, Sylvanus Namang. Namang, a prominent political figure within the APC ranks in the state was brutally Killed in a provision store in Pankshin local government of Plateau State.

Ganduje, who made the call in Jos whe he led members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party on a condolence visit to the state chapter of the party, asked security agencies to ensure justice for the deceased and his family.

Respresented by the National Chairman North, Ali Dolari, Ganduje said, “The untimely demise of Namang is a great loss to our party and the nation. We cannot allow such heinous acts to go unpunished.

Ganduje, who was the former Kano State, stressed the need for transparency and diligence in the investigative process in order to unravel the pepertrators, emphasising that accountability must be upheld at all the levels, urging relevant authorities to leave no stone unturned in the quest for justice.

Responding, the state chairman of the party, Rufus Bature, who welcomed the delegation, urged the party members to be security conscious in the face of growing insecurity in the state, while appreciating the national Secretariat of the party for identifying with the state chapter at this moment of grief.
