In a heartfelt tribute to the women in Ogun State and Nigeria in general, Gateway Progressive Youth has launched a campaign to commemorate International Women’s Day, recognizing the invaluable role women play in nation-building.
On this special occasion, the organization emphasizes the strength, resilience, and leadership of Nigerian women who continue to drive progress in various sectors, from politics to education, health, and beyond. “We acknowledge your role in nation-building,” the Coordinator of the group, Olufemi Bashorun said. “Your contributions are essential to the advancement and development of our nation.”
The campaign aims to advocate for gender equality and empower women and girls across local governments in Ogun State, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and make their voices heard.
