Tomorrow Sunday the 27day of december 2020, the Father of 9News Nigeria correspondent, Comrade Princely Onyenwe will receive the first Posthumus Award from St Luke the Evangelist Anglican Church Imerienwe in Imo state Nigeria for his services to humanity in all spheres of life more importantly in God’s venyard.
This award will be one of the best to be given to such a lengendary leader who has served God with all his resources during his lifetime.
You can recall that the late legend is still living by the great testimonies he had implanted in the life of the living before his demise back to Godhead.

The news of papa’s death came to us at 9News Nigeria as a rude shock. We were actually praying for papa’s recovery from that brief illness, but we never knew papa was ready to go and rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Papa, your exit was not death in the real sense of it, but a transformation from the glorious life you lived here on earth to a more glorious one at the great beyond. We are going to miss you greatly, but for a moment.
Your works while here on this side of the divide are testimonies to the fact that you came, you fought a good fight and you won. We saw how you travailed through the thick and tin of life and its vicissitudes, to attain such an enviable position of leadership in government, in your community and in the church of God. A man of God hugely endowed, one who feared God in all his dealings. You were indeed a leader per excellence.
Papa, you were a disciplinarian to the core, a devoted Christian with huge deposits of divine graces. You committed yourself to raising Godly children and you gave them your best. No doubt we see the fruits of that commitment in all the children you left behind. Sweet, the word of God says, is the remembrance of the righteous.
You led by example, making justice your watchword all throughout your sojourn on the planet earth. As the Chairman, Umudoche Development Union, Umuoma Autonomous Community, you excelled. You were a founding member of De-Na Agwu Town. An Old boy of the CMS Central School, Nekede, Iheme Memorial Grammar School, Ndizuogu, Orlu, an alumni of Kaduna State Polytechnic, and University of Calabar. You also picked up a certificate at the Institute of Marketing, Moorhall, Cookham United Kingdom.

of Nigeria will definitely miss you. The saints of God at Saint Christopher (KSC) Egbu Diocese will miss you papa for your dogged commitment to the things of God. The Umuoma Royal Cabinet will miss you. The Imo State Government and of course, and all your colleagues who you left behind will miss you. 9News Nigeria will miss you. Nigeria at large will miss you. Adieu Papa.
Your love for God was unquestionably unique and extra ordinary. You served at various capacities at the Anglican Communion during your lifetime. No doubt your life was an exemplary one, full of the graces of God.
Papa, we take solace in the words of God our creator that says in the book of 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 16 & 17 that we shall all meet again after the trumpet must have sounded, and we all must have been raised to be with our Lord forever. We wait eagerly to have a joyful reunion then by the grace of our dear and loving father.
But before then, the Publisher of 9News Nigeria, Sir Obinna Ejianya and his wife, Oby, the Editorial Team and entire staff of 9News Nigeria pray that you continue to rest well in the bosom of the Lord Jesus Christ whom you served all the days of your life until we meet after the sound of the Lord’s Trumpet.

This is a living testimony of Sir Emmanuel who can still be remembered after death as he was also recalled to public service during his days in the then ministry of commerce industry and tourism.
