The Director-General of Press Affairs and spokesperman to Government State governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, Isma’ila Uba Misilli, has been recognized with an Excellence Award for his exceptional contributions to community development.
The award was presented to him at an event organized by the Foundation for Community Empowerment Initiative (FOCEI) at the Gombe International Hotel.
According to Safiyanu Danladi Mairiga, the SSA on Media to the Gombe State Governor, the award is a testament to Misilli’s commitment to improving lives through impactful initiatives.
Mr. Misilli was represented by Mairiga at the event.
These initiatives by the awardee includes an annual scholarship program, installation of solar street lights, drilling of motorized boreholes, and empowerment of women in petty trades among others in the state.
While congratulating Misilli, Mairiga said the awardee deserved recognition, praying that bigger rewards await him for his numerous community services.
