Gov Mutfwang seeks partnership with China

In an effort to better the lives of the citizenry, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State recently held a meeting with Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Abuja.

The discussion focused on improving road infrastructure, health, education and the agricultural sectors of the state.

Governor Mutfwang, who was received by the Counsellor, Zhang Yi, highlighted the presence of Chinese construction company in Plateau State and emphasized that the government had created a condusive environment for their businesses to thrive.

He disclosed that his visit was aimed at familiarizing himself and exploring potential partnerships and financial support for road infrastructure projects as well as the training of Plateau youths on Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Governor Mutfwang pointed out that he had engaged with several construction companies in the state and would continue to do so to enhance the economic growth of the state.

Minister Counsellor, Zhang Yi, welcomed Governor Mutfwang and assured him of the unwavering support of the Chinese government.

He praised the strong and cordial relationship between China and Nigeria and reiterated China’s commitment to strengthening these ties for the mutual benefit of both nations.
