Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has officially launched a multi-million naira commercial complex and ultra-modern motor park in Jos South local government area.
The project aims to improve order, reduce crime, and increase monentary dividends for the local administratiion.
According to statement by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Governor Mutfwang performed the unveiling at a ceremony on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
The governor empasised the importance of the effort in creating an atmosphere conducive to commercial activity.
He applauded Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, the Chairman Jos South Local Government Transition Committee for his dedication to finishing the project, which began in 2014 while he was chairman but remained unfinished.
The governor urged more cooperation between the government and vendors, particularly those operating in Terminus Market, urging them to keep the area tidy and create an environment that is condusive for business.
Governor Mutfwang and his delegation were cordially welcomed by Hon. Peter Vwang Dung, the chairman of Jos South local Government Council’s Transition Committee.
In his remarks, he revealed that this is the second project in Jos South that Governor Mutfwang has commissioned.
He thanked the populace for their steadfast support of the Mutfwang government in the state. Vwang Dung promised to work tirelessly to ensure that everyone may travel to Plateau State in safety and prosperity.
