The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has just risen from a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Worried by the condition of federal roads in Anambra State, Governor Obiano had taken his complaints to the presidency to ensure a speedy response to the outcry trailing the growing dilapidation of these roads especially the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway.
Governor Obiano also used the opportunity to brief Mr President on the slow pace of work on the 2nd Niger Bridge caused by torrential flooding and the submerging of four local government areas in the state by flood in the past few days.
Obiano also briefed President Buhari on other developments in Anambra State and emphasized the need for expedited action on federal government projects in the state.
According to him, his visit to Aso Rock Villa was a routine one that enables him to bring Mr President up to speed with developments in Anambra State.
