As the Governor was making his farewell speech at the funeral ground of the late PDP State Chairman in his country home in Ikot Oku Usung, in Ukanafun LGA, of Akwa Ibom State, he broke into tears saying:
“This is one of the most difficult and heaviest moments I have been called upon to hold a microphone since I was born. I am feeling heavier today than the way I felt the day I interred my mother. It’s much heavier for me”.
