The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi has commiserated with Dr. Obiageri Ezekwesili over the death of her mother, Mrs. Cecelia Ujubuonu at 78 years.
Governor Umahi described the death of Mrs. Ujubuonu as a shocking and huge loss to not just Ndodolu village, Anambra state, but the entire Southeastern zone of the country.
In a statement made available to 9News Nigeria by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Umahi urged the family of Ezekwesili to be consoled by the evergreen legacies she left behind.
“Mrs. Cecelia Ujubuonu was a devoted woman of God who was never found in the company of evildoers. That one of her children became a Minister of Solid Mineral and later, Minister of Education shows she instilled discipline in them.
“Her death is indeed a huge loss to the entire Southeastern zone.
“I urge the entire members of Ezekwesili family, Ndodolu village, Anambra State, and Southeast Nigeria to be consoled by the legacies she left behind.”
