Abdulhamid Al-Gazali, Editor-in-Chief of Yerwa Express News, has extended his warmest congratulations to Malam Dauda Iliya and Umar Lawan Dalorima on their recent appointments by Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Governor of Borno.
Mal. Iliya has been appointed as a spokesperson, while Dalorima will serve as a commissioner.In a statement issued by Abubakar H. Muhammad, media aide of Al-Gazali on Saturday, Al-Gazali praised the appointments, describing them as ‘in order, timely, and well-articulated.
‘He highlighted Iliya’s extensive experience in the media, particularly his leadership of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Borno, which has equipped him with the necessary skills and network to make a significant impact on the government.
Similarly, Al-Gazali commended Dalorima’s impressive background in banking, noting that his long experience makes him an ideal candidate for the office of commissioner.
Al-Gazali expressed confidence that both appointees will contribute substantially to the present government and the development of the state.
“Given their exceptional qualities, they will join the list of the other fresh blood in the system to emerge as the next generation of leaders in the state, and I look forward to seeing them succeed,” Al-Gazali said.
Al-Gazali also offered his prayers for their success in their new roles.With Iliya’s expertise in media and Dalorima’s financial acumen, the state is poised for meaningful progress.
