In fulfilment of his promise to support entrepreneurs in Akwa IIbom State, the State Governor Pastor Umo Eno, handed over a fully -furnished start -up factory and equipment as well as my N2 million Naira as working capital to Mrs Ifeoma Itoro, a local food processor.
Recall that the Governor, while handing over equipment support to over 2,000 entrepreneurs at Uyo Township Stadium in March 11, 2025, was approached by Mrs Itoro who sought his assistance for her food processing business.
Moved by her request, the governor directed the Commissioner of Trade and Investment, Dr. Ubong Inyang, to set her up in business.
On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Mrs Itoro received the fully furnished factory and equipment, including all the necessary machinery she had requested for her food processing business..
The Governor also provided her with N2 million Naira as working capital to support her business.
