The YOUTHS of Imo state Nigeria have been lauded by the number one citizen of the state, Senator Hope Uzodinma on the CELEBRATION of International youth Day in Imo.
9News Nigeria reports that marking the International YOUTH Day in Owerri, the state capital over the weekend, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma in his address described Imo YOUTHS as highly dedicated to worthy course, innovative and committed to success.
According to GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma, “that communal spirit and desire to cause change for the overall benefit of the populace continues to dominate the traits of Imo Youths”
Uzodinma maintained that this accounts for the numerous youth empowerment schemes rolled out by the shared prosperity Government, encouraging the youths to go into Agriculture and other Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
This is for sure a policy which is in tandem with the theme of International youth Day,2021.
However, the governor further reaffirmed the value he placed on Imo Youths and the Future of Imo State, that he would stop at nothing in ensuring that their wellbeing is taken into consideration at all times.
Meanwhile, Imo Youths have thanked the GOVERNOR for helping them discover their talents.
